We only use paraffin and soy blend wax, premium fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. This is an excellent combination that gives the cleanest burn without putting harmful chemicals in the air. Although, even the cleanest candle can give a little soot that can’t be avoided.

There is a bit of science that goes into creating a candle. Adding more fragrance oil compromises the integrity of the wax and in turn, affects how well the candle will burn. Our candles may not have a very strong scent when they are not lit, however, the most scent is when they are burning, which is exactly what we want.
We suggest that allowing your candle to cure or infuse for two weeks before lighting will give off the best scent. If you can’t wait, no worries it will still smell great!

Firstly, from the creative choices of your scents to blending your oils, to the final candle pour you can plan on about 35 – 60 minutes. Lastly, comes the pour, and the candle needs time to set. Therefore, it will be ready for pick up in about 90 – 120 minutes depending on the size of the candle vessel or jar you’ve chosen.

We would love to, but we’re sorry, no. It’s a safety issue, we cannot confirm the safety of the container or how well it handles heat, we do not want to take any risks when it comes to your safety, not only at pouring but more importantly when it’s burning.

The majority of our vessels or jars cannot be reused. However, some of our premium novelty vessels can be reused! Just talk with us.

Yes, every candle gives a little soot, and is pretty common with burning anything. However, if you notice a lot or see smoke please remember the following candle care:

• Trim your wick to ¼ inch before each lighting
• Keep your candle away from drafts. Drafts and ceiling fans will make your candle burn faster and create more smoke.
• Burn your candle for 3 hours at a time, 4 hours max. Longer burn times will make your candle burn hotter and faster.
• To avoid the risk of your vessel shattering, stop burning your candle when there is ¼ inch of wax remaining.

We sure do! In addition to candles, we also offer reed diffusers, room sprays, and wax melts.

Reservations are strongly encouraged for groups of 6 and over. We will do our best to accommodate all walk-ins on a first come first serve basis. However, there may be a small wait depending on the day and time.
